What Happens Next?

As soon as your bike arrives at A-One Motorcycle Repairs, we get started right away to compile all of the necessary documents and reports for your Insurance company to process your claim, and ensure your repairs are completed and you are back on the road as soon as possible. 

So what is the process?

1. Initial inspection

Your bike will be inspected for damage and appropriate repairs will be quoted to your Insurance company

2. Claim Quote repair lodgement

Our friendly office team will liaise with your bike manufacturer, to compile your repair quote, all required reports, and submit these to your insurance company, and to help you avoid any unnecessary wait times.

 

3. Insurance company approval

All insurance companies work differently and gaining approval can take time, we will do all we can to ensure that all of the information and reports required by your insurance company are completed and forwarded to the right departments to ensure a quick approval.

Once we have been notified of the approval from your insurance company, we can book your motorcycle in for repairs and order the required parts.

4. Dismantling

Each Motorcycle is disassembled to expose all hidden damage. Should any hidden damage appear during this step, we will forward an additional quote to your insurance Provider, and the extra parts will be ordered.

5. Customer Updates

Our friendly office staff will contact you with updates as required, especially for more complex jobs, but please remember, if at any time you would like to get an update on your repair, or have a question, please do not hesitate to call us on 07 5527 2366, We are open Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.

6. Panel and structural repairs

At this point, any panel or structural damage to the motorcycle is taken to our repair area to be completely transformed back to its former structural glory.

7. Prep and Paint shop

Once all of the repair work has been done, the motorcycle parts and panels are prepared for painting, ensuring that the foundations of the surfaces to be painted are of the highest of quality, as the paint finish can only be as good as the foundations.

Paint is applied in a controlled spray booth, to ensure exceptional quality paint finish and paint durability.

8. Buff

Once the paintwork has dried, the motorcycle panels are buffed and mirror polished.

 

9.​Re-assembly

After all repairs and paint work has been completed, each motorcycle is reassembled and quality checked to ensure the motorcycle is completely returned to its former glory. Each motorcycle is road tested, lazer aligned and mechanical checks are performed if necessary.

10. Wash, dry and final inspection

Finally each motorcycle is washed and dried off, with a final quality inspection conducted, to ensure nothing has been missed.

 

11. Warranty on all parts and repairs.

All motorcycles receive the finest quality repairs, and all of our paint work holds a life time guarantee*, with all genuine parts holding the relevant suppliers parts warranty.
